Boredom

Bordom causes me to do alot of wierd things...
and when I put my mind to something, nothing stops me

For instance, instead of trying to do the pile of work that is on my desk, I search for a stupid problem with my Cell Phone.

When I purchased, the nice guy at the Power Center told me that I can use the infra-red capability to unload my pictures I take (its a camera phone), as well as upload ring tones and all that jazz with this phone. Thats great I tell myself, perfect.

So i take it home, and research the best way to do this. Well, since I have no infra-red connector, and a PDA that I wanted was way to expensive, I decided to buy the 65 dollar DKU-5 cable to hook it up to my computer. It does everything the Infra-red does, and more, plus quicker.
WOW i thought, this is amazing, Im gonna buy it.
So I did, and 2 weeks later, it arrives. Im so excited, I take it out of the box, create some new and cool ring tones, install all the software, and go to upload
Doesnt work
I get fed up after a few days of trying, and I call Nokia,
they tell me that Bell Mobility blocked the upload options, so I have to use thier service to upload and download things.
Great I tell myself, thats a good way to get money on thier end

so, I figure out a way to change a picture to my background, and then download, Lo and Behold, it works, 1 picture at a time, but its free, and I dont have to wait until t-bay tel (who used Bell equipment) to get thier servers working.

So...now Im rather peeved, because, I spent all this money,a nd its not doing what I was told.
Sooo...I call up Bell Canada, they wont help me, because Im not a Bell Canada customer, so I call up Thunder Bay Mobility, and they wont help me, because they have no control over the phones, and, why would they send out my phone to get fixed, when, EVENTUALLY, they can try to make money of off me.

So, this pisses me off to no end, I end up being upset and frustrated...

enough of the backstory

well, today, I was bored, and I decided to see if anyone else was as pissed as I was
well, I found a couple after a quick google search.
One of the people went so far as to ask for help, in which he got!!!
they said, download this program, its better than anything Nokia can come out with, and it works with Nokia phones, AND it bypasses the lock outs
WOOHOO I think
so I search for about 2.5 hours for a free, non shareware version I can try
well, none to be found, so I had to settle for an older version said works if you some funky stuff to it (add certain files and overwrite others)
So I did, and now, I am waiting for lunch, so I can zip home and pick up the cable cord, and see if I can upload more games and ringtones and pictures (oh my) to this thing!
